Fried Pork Belly Bao Tacos
Equally excellent as an appetizer or as the main event, this popular street food packs a powerful one-two punch of savory flavor and fluffy texture that will leave your customers begging for more.
- Mini bao buns - 4 each
- Asian Pear- Carrot Slaw - 4 tbs.
- Roasted Pork Belly - 4 2 oz. pcs.
- Spicy Chili Sticky Sauce - 2 oz.
- Cilantro sprig - 4 each
Steam off the bao bun till they get hot for approximately 30 seconds. Fry the pork belly in the deep fryer until heated through and crisp and golden brown.
Open the bao bun and place the 1 tbs. of the slaw, pork belly, and 1/2 oz. of the sauce on top of the pork belly. Finish with the cilantro leaf. Continue to the remaining 3 buns.
- Place the 4 buns bottom leaning up against each other on the serving plate.
