Griddled Andouille Sausage Meatloaf Entrée

Andouille sausage and an assortment of spicy and savory seasonings form the basis of this standout meatloaf entrée. A side of mashed potatoes and a topping of sweet honey BBQ sauce help put the finishing touches on a fantastic main course. 

Ingredients:

  • Mashed potatoes,hot - 5 Oz.
  • Phase, LBA - 2 Tbl
  • Chopped parsley - 1 Tsp (s)
  • Sauce Craft Honey Bourbon BBQ sauce, heated - 2 Oz.
  • Vegetable mixed, hot - 4 Oz.
  • Andouille Meat Loaf - 2 Slices

Preparation:

  1. Place the Phase on the griddle and place the meatloaf sliced 1-1/2" thick . Sear the meatloaf on both sides and achieve an Internal temp of 165F degrees

  2. On the serving plate place the mashed potatoes in the center of the plate and the vegetables at 12 o'clock.

  3. Place the 2 heated meatloaves shingled against the mashed potatoes. Drizzle the BBQ sauce over the top of the meatloaf and finish with chopped parsley.

    Ingredients:
  1. Hidden Valley French dressing - Cups 2
  2. Chopped shallots - Tbl 4
  3. Panko breadcrumbs - Cups 5-6
  4. Andouille sausage ,diced 1/4" - Cups 9
  5. Carrots, diced 1/4" - Cups 2
  6. Garlic fresh, chopped - Tbl 4
  7. Thyme fresh, chopped - Cups 1
  8. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing - Cups 2
  9. Ground Turkey - Lbs. 2
  10. Parsley, chopped - Cups 2
  11. Celery, diced 1/4" - Cups 2
  12. Eggs, ewhole - Each 8
  13. Ground Beef - Lbs. 2
  14. Black pepper, ground - Tbl 2
  15. Onion, diced 1/4" - Cups 2
  16. Ground Pork - Lbs. 2
  17. Salt, kosher - Tbl 4
    Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl add in all the ingredients and combine well.
  2. Spray the loaf pans with pan release well. Put the meatloaf mix in the pans and fill to the edge of the pans.
  3. Drop the pans on the counter tops a few time to remove any air bubbles in the pans.
  4. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes. Check the meat loaf and the internal temperature needs to be no less than 165 degrees.
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before placing in the refrigerator to completely cool off. Before removing out of the pan entirely ensure the meatloaf is completely cold before doing so.
