  • Tomato sauce - 2 Quart
  • Cilantro, chopped - 2 Cups
  • Chipotle in adobo - 8 Oz.

  1. Heat the tomato sauce in a pot and add in the chipotle pepper. Cook over low heat for 1/2 hour. Then use an immersion blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Place the sauce back on the heat and add the cilantro. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes over low heat.
  3. Place the spiced tomato sauce in a storage container and cool until needed.
