Apricot Thyme Compound Butter Blend
Tart and herbaceous, if carefree summers had a taste, this apricot and thyme butter would be it. Just one taste of this sweet spread will make your guests feel like they’ve come home.
- Sunglow salted butter blend - 1 lb.
- Apricots, dried, chopped fine - .5 Cup
- Apricot preserves - .5 Cup
- Thyme fresh, chopped - 2 tbs.
- Salt, kosher - As needed
Combine all the ingredients together except for the salt and mix at low speed to combine.
Once the mixture is combined, add in the salt to enhance the flavors then mix enough to combine well.
Place the completed compound butter blend in a clean container and hold in the refrigerator until needed.
Can be used with baked fruit bread, muffins, flavored butter blends assortment with toast, biscuits.
Serve with pancakes, waffles, and French toast.
